So, the next version. 3.2

I fixed most of the romaji, added tri/diphonic things, and added Korean (sorta). I also fixed most of the oto.ini, and you shouldn't need to use what I didn't fix.
I also added a few more notes.
Korean is there, but it will probably need a bit of tweaking and mixing with her Japanese and Chinese. I'll fix it as soon as I begin to learn Korean from a friend.
Chinese has a tail of "_c" still.

The only thing that I couldn't get to work was her picture in UTAU. Seriously. I tried updating it, and it didn't work. "Bad picture" is what appeared. Yes, I checked the name and folders of the stuff. Yes, I tried different picture types (jpg, bmp, gif). Ehh, I'll figure it out soon. I hope.

Random stuff tends to pop up with the oto.ini thing. Be careful with some notes. I don't recommend using romaji for "kya". Hiragana works fine with that. Working on fixing it.

I'll make it with different parts too, later on.
Please let me know if I need to fix anything.
EDIT: Please be warned when you use a UST that uses "z" for a rest. There is something with "z", and she will say "Z". This shouldn't happen with "x" though.

A tri/di phonic stuff test:

In other news, this blog is no longer called "Sogone Project", it will be re-called that once I persuade someone I know to lend their voice for an UTAUloid. Once there's one more, anyways. Ehh, it'll be just a romaji/hiragana voicebank, though.

Toeto

Ehh, bad sound quality, etc. She isn't the best for this song. Does someone have this UST with diphones?

Thursday, February 25, 2010

So,

I've been working on the triphonic/diphones things that I find quite annoying. They will be done in the next week or two, but no guarantees. The reclist makes it look short. (-_-);

I can't do anything tomorrow. I'll be out all day. Well, not until like 11 at night or something. But I probably won't get much done.
But this weekend, I'm going to try to get some more notes/sounds added to Shizu's voicebank. More triphonic/diphonic stuff? I'm not sure what it's classified under. I'll try and get some art stuff done too. Stuff for whatever I have a UST for, anyways.

Anyways, I've decided to possibly give this site/project a new name, maybe. There are so many "Project this" or "that Project"s out there.
Ehh, this is only if I can come up with something good. Or someone suggests something.
Even if there's just one UTAUloid, there are plans for plenty of designs/related characters with fail-voicebanks. And they all sound different. Not to mention their male counterparts.
All of their surnames is "sogone", though I may change the derivative of the 'sogo' part of it.

I've also decided to hold off on a banner for this blog until I get designs of more derivatives/related characters/fail-character voicebanks, designs, and names + info stuff done. Or at least their names and designs.

Another version.

Well, I fixed most of the more frequently used oto.ini things. I don't think anyone will try using much else yet.

But, in the process, i somehow messed up a lot of the romaji parts. It's a pain to go through and delete the extras, but I'm working on it. Some of it still works, but the rest either makes a black space or a crap sounding note.
Hiragana should work fine though.

I'm calling this version "don't trust the romaji". :P

On second though, Aro will be simply through manipulation.
Taer will also be that way, I suppose.

EDIT: Guess what. I'm working on diphones/triphonics. They'll be up in the next week or two.

yay.

I'm getting around to fixing the oto.ini files.
And she can now sing faster songs. Yay.
Except, her "oh"s and "Pi----"s sound strange for the song.

In other news, the sidebar is back at the side of this blog.

Ooookay...

EDIT: REMOVED.

Happy early birthday, Shizu!

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=H5_MjuwK048

I decided to put this up early, since no one will probably see it anyways. D':

I got her papercraft done, though.

I am quite...

I am quite pleased to say that my computer can now handle Japanese again.
Although the view is kinda distorted and stretched.
I just need to try getting my microphone to work. (It's a really really old one...)

Working on Shizu's Birthday "(i finally have a..) song release".

It's an english version of a song I made singable on my other blog (the one on LJ). It was also the only one I could find the UST for. (seriously.)
plus, this helped me expand her english voicebank, although it's still a bit slurred... ><
Augh. If only they could stay on the same volume too. Bleh. Accidental recording with low and high volumes. ><

Someone find me the UST of "Alice" by FurukawaP?
I can't find links on YT or NND.

Shizu still has a few quirks to her voice that I can't figure out. But now if something doesn't sound good, place a "2" next to it. (ex, "my" sounds like crap, "my2" does too. "my3" works okay.)
I suppose it's an easier way. not everyone can really just type that up or down arrow... Not to mention my own laziness to type them.

So,

(sidebar's still at the bottom)

It seems as if I can get Windows 7 tomorrow, meaning I can finally work in UTAU again. But this is only if I finish an APUSH paper which I'm not excited about.
I'm definitely no historian.
But getting my computer fixed is worth it entirely.

Y'know what Sunday is? Shizu's birthday. Since I haven't had time to work in UTAU, a song with her won't be up until later. However, I have something else planned. Except, "add image" never worked for me. I'll find a way to upload it. ><

Sunday, February 14, 2010

Bleh.

I really can't figure out why the sidebar's at the bottom.
I'll try reseting a few things...
Oh, and singable lyrics that either Shizu or I will dub are at stateofdep.livejournal.com

So,

Why is the sidebar at the bottom?
I'd like to know. Please tell me.
It's not at the bottom when you click on a post title.

I just realized something.
Y'know how 'ki' sounds like crap? I find this VERY ironic.
The story I've featured her in is being called "Key of Dreams" right now. aka Yume no Ki.
I guess she hates keys now? Nah. Probably not.

I googled the kanji for other "sogo" derivatives and learned that they're all the same. So, Kotori's and Aroku's surnames are actually just derivatives.
Taer's is still "conflicting sound".
And Shizu has a little bit of a tendency to mix up kanji, so it's still a derivative.

In other news, I'm going to try and learn how to make MIDIs. In Audacity? I dunno. That's what the person who made the Scarlet Moon MIDI did, god knows how. But if I learned how, I still need to learn to transfer them to ust files, and I still need my computer fixed.
You have no idea how annoyed I am by the fact that I still can't get it fixed.

In more news, I'm making singable translations.
Stateofdep.livejournal.com
right now there's only Bad Apple, but I'm working on a lot more.

....

Somehow, the side bar is at the bottom.
I have no idea why.
EDIT 2/10: My computer's still not fixed. you have no idea how depressed I feel because of that.
